_{I believe this was the first collaboration done between myself (Daniel A. Pierce) & DPBJewelry. It was part of an order, a commission of points. Originally this piece was ordered from missouritrading.com, it came in a slab length of say 7 inches or so. From there I took it, sawed it up to manageable sizes to work it further and increase point production per slab.

Worked out good. The thing with these slabs, this ones Sky Blue I believe, as Cobalt Blue is real dark. But there made of fiber optic material, and the come some what thick. If you were to see the amount of flakes that come off of one piece, you wouldn't really believe it. Or maybe you would! lol. But it does require alot of chipping. And being that this is an older piece, my flaking patterns and chipping work has much since improved, as well as the number of collaborations between me an Dusty. She has been kind enough to put the proceeds of our combined pieces towards our family's efforts to cleaning up the house fire, the mess that that left.

So check her out, she has tons and tons of elegantly wire wrapped products, pieces and pendants. She used 22g square 14k GF wire on this particular piece. And as she mentions on her original photo - [link] - this material is highly reflective in the light. It more or less captures it giving you highlights and tones with each movement, with every angle is a new shade not seen before.
