Description
The piece was "Flintknapped" by shop owner Daniel A. Pierce
using cobalt blue slag glass, which is run off from glass companies &
forms into a rock like shape. It gets put through a rock or tile saw to create
slabs. Then shaped using copper pressure flaking tools & techniques.
In collaboration with Native Bling (Neil C. Martinez), local Second Generation
Silversmith then sets the piece to create a polished silver pendant.

I have been meaning to ask, do you ever flintknap mirrors? We have a few broken ones at work right now, and it would be neat to see what they look like with the glass purposely shaped.
